#50. Hot Lips Hilda

Media:  oils on canvas

Dimensions:  12″ X 16″

This painting features a shady corner of my garden where my favorite birdfeeder is hanging from a pear tree. The birdfeeder is called “Hot Lips Hilda” (really!); the opening is…through the mouth. I thought the color of her hair was remarkably in harmony with the hydrangeas in bloom…: had to paint it!

  1. Hot Lips Hilda?? What a great name for a birdfeeder. Our hydrangeas are only putting out some buds now but it won’t be long before they are in full bloom!
